The end of the league year is approaching quickly, as week by week we approach the final culmination of the year when members and teams head to Las Vegas in August. Meanwhile, the next several weeks are full of stiff competition and excitement; team championships, the Challenge tournament, two Citywides and the First Annual Top Gun and Top Gal tournaments. In the middle of all that action is the start of the summer session, and this year more teams than ever will qualify directly to Citywide AND do it in a very short session. in case you decide that THIS is the summer your team will play afterall to get your Citywide berth under your belt.
Spring Session Reminders: 1) To check which teams are already qualified, look for a “Q” next to their team name on the scoresheet, Remember that Citywide teams are not eligible for playoffs this session, & they get passed over in the standings, so your team could be in the top tier even if you’re not in the top 4. 2) Teams not intereted in the secondary playoff must notify me ASAP. 3) All players must have played 4 times to be on the post season rosters. 4) New players must have played 10 times by Citywide which includes post season matches. Forfeits & partial 9ball matches do not count for this rule. 4) Anyone finishing 2nd to a past Top Gun also namedTop Gun. The list of past Top Guns is on this site. Also anytime there’s a 2 way tie, both players would win. There’s only one Top Gal & a tie would be broken by the higher winning %. The Top Gal must be in the top 10 to receive a trophy.
Summer Session The Summer Challenge will be early this year so players can play in the US Amateur which shortens the summer session to about 13 weeks plus playoffs for most divisions. I plan to advance the top point team to Citywide whenever possible in larger divisions (or do a playoff) so that even smaller divisions could have a shot at direct to Challenge and larger divisions could go direct to Citywide. Reserve your team by emailing, calling or filling out the reserve form on your sheet. The majority of teams will start the first week of June (a few before). If you’re taking the summer off, just say No to save the trouble of harassing you. Lol If your team is taking the summer off, but you still want to play, spares are always needed so just let me know.

SESSION INFORMATION:
